Fisher
You will find that Fisher is small enough to provide the personal touches, like having local merchants know you by name, but also large enough to provide you with the things you need for life in the 21st century. The Fisher School District is truly one of the finest in Central Illinois with a long list of successful graduates who have made their mark in their chosen professions. Our community provides a variety of recreational opportunities and an abundant job market both within the community itself and in the Champaign-Urbana area. Our proximity to the University of Illinois and Parkland College also makes Fisher an ideal spot for family life.

Mahomet
Settled in 1832 on the banks of the Sangamon River, Mahomet is the oldest community in Champaign County. A rural residential community with thriving business areas, Mahomet appeals to those in search of an atmosphere of country living, shopping, and working with the added convenience of a cosmopolitan environment just 10 miles away from Champaign-Urbana.
Monticello
Monticello is not your typical small-town, rural community. A micro-economy of its own, the community offers the amenities that one would expect to find in larger metropolitan areas. The majority of Monticello's residents work in the neighboring cities of Decatur or Champaign, both 20 miles in either direction from Monticello. A wide variety of existing homes are available from affordable to executive, as well as many residential lots to build upon. The City of Monticello maintains one of the lowest property tax rates in the area, which along with the low cost of living, makes living in Monticello favorable for many residents.

Rantoul
Whether you are looking for a home, business or industry or a site for a new home, business or industry, you will find that for the size of our community, Rantoul has a lot to offer. Rantoul offers services that other communities can not. We have been in the business of supplying electricity to our citizens for over 100 years as well as water and wastewater treatment. This has enabled village residents to reap the benefits of less expensive utility bills and has allowed our utility departments to make significant investment in the systems to guarantee quality service for the citizens. Most areas feature underground electric services and all city streets are well lit.

Savoy
Savoy is south of Champaign and north of Willard Airport, making Savoy a prime location because it is the south entrance corridor to Champaign. The Village of Savoy was incorporated in 1956. Savoy maintains a quality of life typically associated with small Midwestern towns, including municipal tax rates far below that of Champaign or Urbana, acreage of prime undeveloped land, a low crime rate, quiet un-congested neighborhoods, and a responsive government.

Tolono
Tolono, a small town (population approximately 2,600) located just south of Savoy and north of Pesotum does not have its own Web site, but many of its facilities do. The modern Tolono Public Library offers many programs for the town's residents, and even provides free use of a meeting room along with some other wonderful services. The Tolono Park District, formed in 1975, is currently working on raising the money necessary to purchase the old Unity Junior High School property. The acreage would allow the park district to expand its services to the community. Tolono is home to the Unit #7 School District, which serves the educational needs of the towns of Tolono, Philo, and Sidney.
