Marty has lived in Central Illinois her entire life, most of it in Champaign. Married to a builder, housing has long been a part of her life. As a result, she is very familiar with new construction and has lived in over 20 houses during her marriage. She understands the excitement and stresses involved with building and moving. She enjoys working with first time buyers or sellers, as well as seasoned clients.

Educated as a nurse practitioner, Marty’s professional life has always been assisting people. She worked at Carle as a Family Nurse practitioner and taught nursing at Parkland College and the University of Illinois. The ability to develop helping relationships is essential as a nurse practitioner and educator. The transition to real estate after retirement was an easy one, as real estate is a people oriented business as well. She has 4 grown sons, three of whom returned to the area after college. Marty’s grandchildren are the light of her and her husband’s life.
