John has lived in the Champaign-Urbana area all of his life. He married his best friend, Lisa, 32 years ago. Together John and Lisa raised their wonderful daughter, Kara. Following in his family heritage, John has worked in the construction industry all of his life. At the age of 32 years old, John attended Illinois State University were he earned a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. After completing his degree, John began his teaching career in the Mahomet-Seymour School District where he taught fifth grade. While teaching in Mahomet, John attended the University of Illinois to achieve a master’s degree in Educational Organizational Leadership. When completing his degree, John began his work as a school administrator. Now that he has retired from teaching he enjoys working with past students and helping them with all of their real estate needs.
