Nick attended Taylor University and graduated from ISU, has been a real estate broker since 1975 and has been married to his wife Renee for over 30 years. They have three adult children; Casey, who graduated from FAU in sports medicine and now at Carle Hospital, Justin, who graduated from Mizzou and earned his Master's from Syracuse and is now the owner of JT Walker's Sports Bar & Restaurant, and Jordan at FSU in Michigan in Auto Technology Engineering. He has been a school board member & school mentor and a past member on the board of his church. Nick's special interests are family activities, sports, collecting and restoring muscle cars. He has been a speaker at the RE/MAX National Convention three times. His team is listed among the top 100 teams nationally for RE/MAX, and Nick has earned the RE/MAX Lifetime achievement award as well as being in the RE/MAX Hall of Fame.
Russ has has helped families buy and sell homes for over 35 years. A life long resident of Champaign County, he graduated from Mahomet-Seymour High School and the University of Illinois. Russ has been married to Charlene for 34 years and has two sons; Ryan, who graduated from Denver Auto Tech and lives in Mahomet, and Rhett who graduated from Vanderbuilt University and lives in Nashville. His hobbies include running, reading, hunting and Harley Davidson motorcycles. He previously served as elder in his church. Russ is currently a school mentor, and is active in Promise Keepers and Pinnacle Forum. He has been a speaker at the RE/MAX International Convention and has numerous recognitions including the CCAR's 2009 Realtor of the Year, RE/MAX Hall of Fame, Chairman's Club and Lifetime Acheivement Awards. Russ's designations include Certified Residential Specialist and Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager.
Ed has been a Realtor since 1999 and a builder since 2004. Ed is a 1987 graduate of Bloomington High School. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1992, where he played on the basketball team and was a high jumper on the track team. His major was Speech Communications at the Uof I. Ed's interests include sporting events and spending time with his family and friends. His wife, Karen and two children, Ava and Tomas, have been residents of Champaign-Urbana for six years.
Prudence has resided in Champaign County for most of her life. She graduated from Mahomet-Seymour High School and holds an Associate Degree from Parkland college. She and her husband Brad welcomed their first child Zachary James in May of 2007. As a family they enjoy water activities, biking and just spending time together.
Craig has been a Central Illinois resident for 20 years. Craig is a 1993 graduate of Mahomet-Seymour High School. He attended Florida Atlantic University, where he received a scholarship for Basketball and a Major in Real Estate/Finance. Craig ended his college career in 1998 as Florida Atlantic Universities all-time leading scorer and rebounder. He continued playing basketball professionally in the CBA in Florida and in the USBL in New Jersey. Craig's interests include playing basketball, watching movies, and spending time with his family and his wife, Casey and daughters Avery and Hunter.
Bob has lived in Central Illinois all his life. He was a partner and dealer/ operator in the farm equipment business for 25 years. Bob enjoys Illinois sports, boating and playing tennis. He recently got married and resides in Champaign. Bob enjoys spending time with his two children and especially his three grandchildren.
Allyne has been in real estate since 1987 and has her brokers license, GRI and ABR designations. Allyne has been married to Virgil, a farmer, for over 40 years. She and Virgil reside in Farmer City and have two sons, Derek and Destin. Allyne is the proud grandmother of three grandaughters and one grandson. Her interests include: church, gardening and her grandchildren.
Brian transplanted to Champaign in 1977 from Spring Valley Ill. to work for the Champaign Police Department. He retired in 2007 after 30 years of service, thirteen of which he was fortunate enough to work in the canine unit with two great Malinois partners, Kevin and Buddy. During this time, he was also involved with real estate for over fifteen years buying and selling rental properties. Brian became a licensed Realtor in 2008 and has now joined the Russ Taylor Team as a Sales Partner. He loves spedning time with his wife, Linda Valentine, and his son Brian and two grandchildren, Mackenzie and Logan. Matt is a Champaign resident and experienced real estate investor. He is a U.S. Army Veteran and served as a guard of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington Cemetery. Matt is active within his church and participates in various volunteer projects. When he is not serving clients he enjoys spending quite time in nature, gardening, and traveling.
Tonya moved to Mahomet in 1988 from Indiana, where she had worked as office manager of a title & abstract company. Before joining the Taylor Team in May of 2006 she was a licensed agent assistant at Country Companies and previously worked at Busey Bank for 10 years as a personal lender. She holds a Business Management degree. She & her husband, Kenny, have 3 children. They enjoy sports, Harleys, traveling and NASCAR. They attend New Horizon Church. Tonya has volunteered for many area community activities over the years, including Relay for Life. She looks forward to serving all your real estate needs.
Max has been a resident of Champaign County since 1991, when the McComb family moved to Mahomet and purchased their present family home through Nick Taylor! Max grew up in south-western Michigan and is a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais IL. He enjoys music and high school athletics. Max is a member of the Mahomet-Seymour Board of Education and is also very active with the local Athletic Booster Club. He leads the Worship Team at New Day Community Church in Champaign and has been a member of their Board of Directors since 1992. Max has been married to his wife, Ellen, for over 25 years. The McCombs have one son, Jon, who studies and plays football at Lindenwood University in St. Charles Mo.
Sandy is a life-long resident of Central Illinois where she graduated from Gibson City schools. She left a nursing career to raise three children with her husband of 46 years, Bob, who worked in masonary construction and car sales management. She enjoys spending time with her 11 grandchildren and taking day trips with Bob. Sandy knows conversational Spanish, and is eager to work with buyers and sellers in all stages of the moving process. She is especially well acquainted with the Champaign and Mahomet areas as well as Fisher, Foosland, and Gibson City.
After a successful real estate career in Hawaii and Washington, Eric has returned to his hometown of Mahomet with his wife and three sons to join his uncles, Russ and Nick, in continuing the “Taylor Boys” tradition.
A walk-on for his college football team, Eric also studied abroad in Europe and Central America, and then graduated magna cum laude with a degree in International Business. These unique experiences coupled with his dedication and hard work ethic are values his clients benefit from working with Eric.
Eric began his career in real estate after three years as a sales professional for a Seattle Xerox agency. Upon moving to Hawaii he quickly rose to the top 10% of agents in sales volume within just two years. Acknowledged by his peers, Eric was elected Director for the Kona Board of Realtors.

Davonne is a life-long resident of Champaign-Urbana. She has 20 years of experience as an Account Executive at The News Gazette in the Advertising Department. She received her real estate license in 2005 and joined Re/Max Realty Associates earning her GRI designation shortly thereafter. Providing excellent customer service to the client is a special passion. She especially enjoys introducing first time home buyers to the process and excitement of owning a home.
She resides in Champaign with her husband Eric of 25 years and their 2 children Blake, a college student and Bailie, a highschool student. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, walking, church fellowship and spending time at the family cabin in Wisconsin.
Spencer graduated from Mahomet-Seymour High School in 1999 and played football his first year at Valparaiso University. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 2003 with a degree in Economics. Since graduation, Spencer has lived across the country and worked for two of the top ten national housing developers, Pulte and Lennar. After having his first child, Lilly, in October of 2008, he and his family decided to move from Chicago back to his hometown of Mahomet, where he joined Nick’s team with a specialty in urban development. In his spare time, Spencer enjoys spending time with his family, friends and dogs. He also enjoys playing sports and a friendly game of Poker.
Donna joined the REMAX team in January of 2008 coming from a career of 25 years in Human Resources, Staffing and Sales. She is married to Joe, a Human Resource Consultant and retired school administrator. They have been Central Illinois residents their entire lives and have 5 children and 11 grandchildren living all over the country. Travel, driving their corvette, music, reading, keeping active and enjoying the outdoors keep them busy. Donna sings on the Worship Team at Meadowbrook Community Church, directs the annual Children’s Christmas Production and is involved in the community. She enjoys meeting and helping people and is eager to make your rental experience a pleasant one.
Rick Wilberg has lived in Central Illinois his entire life. He is a graduate of Champaign Centennial High School and has been a police officer for the Champaign Police Department since 1997. Rick and his wife have two children and enjoy attending Illinois sporting events and cheering on the Chicago Cubs.
Heather has lived in Central Illinois her entire life. She graduated from Mahomet-Seymour High School in 1993 and holds an Associates Degree from Parkland College. Heather joined the RE/MAX Team in February 2008 and prior to that worked as a Retail Manager for over 10 years. Heather works in the Monticello office 4 days a week. Heather and her husband and 2 children reside in rural Mansfield. Heather enjoys snow skiing and spending time with her family.
Mary joined RE/MAX Realty Associates in January of 2004. A University of Illinois graduate in Advertising, Mary is responsible for all aspects of marketing, as well as maintaining and updating all of the agency's various websites. Mary lives in Fisher and is proud to be a Fisher Bunnie Fan! She enjoys reading, watching movies and spending time at home with her husband and three children.
Dottie originally joined the Taylor Team as the "Saturday Girl" almost 13 years ago. Although retired from her full-time job, Dottie has remained with Russ and Nick and she now works each Wednesday in the Monticello Office and still remains our "Saturday Girl" in Mahomet. "I love working in these offices," says Dottie, and have fun with all the terrific staff members.
Kim joined RE/MAX Realty Associates in January of 2003 after working at Busey Bank for 15 years. Kim is the closing manager for eleven very busy agents. She is responsible for orchestrating and setting the closings. Kim and her husband reside in Mahomet with their two children. In her spare time, Kim enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors.
Martha has been with the Taylor Team since 1995. She is responsible for the financial aspects of the office. She and her husband Ron have a daughter, Sarah. Martha enjoys traveling, reading cooking and any kind of racing. Martha is the glue that keeps the Taylor Team together!
